Privacy Policy — RankifyXpert

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 September 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how RankifyXpert (“we”, “us”, “the site”) handles information in connection with rankifyxpert.com and the tools published on it, including the Aspect Ratio Calculator.

RankifyXpert is a small, independently operated website that provides free online utilities. We collect as little information as possible, and the tools themselves are designed so that the data you work with does not need to leave your device.

By using this website you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with it, please stop using the site.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in two situations only: when you choose to send it to us, and when it is generated automatically as part of ordinary web hosting. These are described separately in the two sections that follow.

The Aspect Ratio Calculator does not collect anything. The width, height and ratio values you enter are processed entirely by JavaScript running in your own browser. They are not transmitted to our server, not stored, not logged and not shared. Closing or refreshing the page discards them. This applies to both calculation modes on the tool page.

We do not ask for or knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and there is no account system, no login and no payment processing on this website.

3. Information you provide

The only place on this site where you can submit personal information is the contact form. If you choose to use it, we receive:

  • The name you enter
  • The email address you enter
  • The subject line and the content of your message

You control what goes into these fields, so please do not include sensitive information in a message to us. We use these details to read and reply to your enquiry, and for nothing else. We do not add contact form submissions to a marketing list and we do not sell, rent or trade them.

Messages submitted through the form are delivered to our email inbox and stored there, along with any reply we send. They are handled by the email and hosting services that operate this website, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy.

4. Automatically collected information

Like almost all websites, this site runs on a web server that keeps standard access logs. These logs are generated by our hosting provider and typically record:

  • Your IP address
  • The browser type and operating system reported by your device
  • The pages requested and the date and time of each request
  • The referring page, if you arrived from a link elsewhere

This information is a normal part of serving web pages. It is used for security, diagnosing errors and keeping the site running, and it is not used to build a profile of you or to identify you personally.

5. How we use information

Information is used only for the purposes it was provided or generated for:

  • To respond to you. Contact form details are used to reply to your message and, if needed, to follow up on it.
  • To keep the site working. Server logs help us investigate errors, broken pages and abuse.
  • To improve the tools. If you report a problem with a calculation, we use the details you send to reproduce and fix it.
  • To meet legal obligations. Where the law requires us to retain or disclose information, we comply.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell personal information.

6. Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. The tools on this site do not require cookies to function, and no cookie is needed to use the Aspect Ratio Calculator.

Cookies may still be set in the following situations:

  • Cookies set by the website platform for basic operation or security
  • Cookies set by an analytics provider, if analytics are in use — see section 7
  • Cookies set by an advertising partner, if advertising is shown — see section 8

You can view, block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not stop the calculator from working. If your browser is set to refuse them, the tools on this site will still function normally.

7. Analytics

We may use a third-party analytics service to understand how the site is used overall — for example which pages are viewed most and roughly which countries visitors come from. Any such service may set cookies or use similar technologies, and may process information such as your IP address, device type and the pages you visit.

Analytics information is used in aggregate to decide what to improve. It is not used to identify you individually, it is never combined with the contents of a contact form message, and it is not sold or shared for marketing purposes. Each analytics provider processes data under its own privacy policy, which you can request from us at any time.

You can limit analytics tracking through your browser settings, including by blocking cookies or enabling any “do not track” option your browser offers. Doing so will not affect the tools on this site.

8. Advertising

This site may display advertising supplied by third-party advertising partners. Those partners, and the vendors they work with, may use cookies, device identifiers or similar technologies to serve advertisements, measure how they perform and, in some regions, to personalise what you are shown based on your browsing activity.

We do not share your contact form details with advertising partners, and we never pass on the values you enter into any calculator on this site — those values stay in your browser and are not available to us or to anyone else.

Advertising partners act as independent controllers of the data they collect and handle it under their own privacy policies. Depending on where you live, you may be able to control personalised advertising through your device settings, your browser settings, or any consent options presented on this site.

9. Third-party services

We keep third-party services to a minimum. The categories of service involved in operating this website are:

  • Web hosting, which serves the pages and keeps standard access logs
  • Email and contact form delivery, which receives and stores messages you send us
  • Analytics, where used, as described in section 7
  • Advertising, where shown, as described in section 8
  • Security and content delivery, which may be used to keep the site fast and protected against abuse

Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy policy and terms, and we do not control how they process information. If you would like to know which specific providers are in use at any given time, ask us through the contact form and we will tell you.

10. Data security

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and we apply reasonable measures to protect the limited information we hold, including keeping software updated and restricting access to contact form messages.

No method of transmission or storage on the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. What we can say is that the amount of personal data held here is deliberately small: the calculators store nothing, and there is no user database, no account system and no payment information on this site.

11. Data retention

Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and to keep a record of any related correspondence, after which they are deleted. If you would like your message and details removed sooner, ask us and we will do so, unless we are required to keep them by law.

Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for its own standard period, which is typically short and set by that provider rather than by us. Values entered into the Aspect Ratio Calculator are never retained at all, because they never leave your browser.

12. Children’s privacy

This website is a general-purpose utility site and is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. External links

Pages on this site may link to other websites. Those sites are operated independently, and this policy does not apply to them. We are not responsible for their content or for how they handle your information, so please read the privacy policy of any site you visit through a link from here.

14. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over the personal information we hold about you. These commonly include the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold and request a copy of it
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep
  • Object to or ask us to restrict certain uses of your information
  • Withdraw consent where our use of your information relies on consent
  • Complain to your local data protection authority

In practice, the only personal information we are likely to hold about you is a contact form message you sent us. To make a request, email us using the details in section 16. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time limits set by the law that applies to you.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example if we add a tool, change hosting, or begin using a service that was not previously in use. When we do, the “last updated” date at the top of this page will change.

Where a change materially affects how your information is handled, we will make that clear on this page. We encourage you to check this page occasionally. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.

16. Contact information

If you have questions about this policy, or you want to make a request about your information, get in touch:

Please mark your message as a privacy request so it can be dealt with promptly. We read every message and will respond as soon as we reasonably can.
